Magdy Selim

Dr. Selim is a Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, the Chief of the division of stroke and cerebrovascular disease and Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is world renowned for his expertise and research in intracerebral hemorrhage. Dr. Selim has been a member of the American Heart Association ICH guidelines writing group since 2010. He is the founder of the HEmorrhagic stroke Academia inDuStry (HEADS) roundtable, and served as the Principal Investigator for several NIH-funded multi-center trials, including the iDEF trial and the ongoing StATin Use in intRacerebral hemorrhage patieNts (SATURN) and SATURN MRI trials.
