Dr Almekhlafi is an interventional neurologist and an associate Professor of Clinical Neurosciences, Radiology, and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary, Canada.

He is interested in studying the outcomes of endovascular therapy of cerebrovascular disorders through optimizing selection and treatments using available and novel imaging and therapeutic techniques.
