Love-Preet Kalra

Dr. med. Love-Preet Kalra is a neurology resident with a strong foundation in both clinical practice and innovative research. Currently serving in the Department of Neurology at RKH Klinikum Ludwigsburg, Germany, she specializes in stroke diagnosis and management, with a particular focus on leveraging biomarkers like GFAP for rapid prehospital detection of intracranial hemorrhage.

Dr. Kalra has played a big role in several groundbreaking studies, including the DETECT and COMA trials, which aim to enhance diagnostic precision for intracranial hemorrhages. Her research has been widely recognized and published in esteemed journals such as Neurology and Critical Care. She has also presented her work at events, including the International Stroke Conference (ISC) and the European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC). Her contributions have been recognized with honors such as the Paul Dudley White International Scholar Award and the Junior Investigator Travel Grant.

With a strong academic foundation from Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt am Main, Dr. Kalra continues to push the boundaries of neurological research while delivering high-quality patient care.
