Xia Wang

Dr Wang is a senior research fellow at the George Institute for Global Health supported by an NHMRC investigator grant. She is leading a multicenter randomized controlled trial in China to investigate the efficacy and safety of minimally invasive soft channel brain haemorrhage evacuation in patients with basal ganglia intracerebral haemorrhage. She is the lead statistician for several large-scale international clinical trials including HeadPoST, ENCHANTED, and INTERACT2. She also led many international individual patient data meta-analysis collaborative projects, for example, an individual patient data meta-analyses projects to pool two landmark trials of INTERACT2 and ATACH-II.
